【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesdefectswhichcommonlyappearduringtheinspectionofknittedpiece-goods.ThepurposeofthisInternationalStandardistodefineknitted-fabricdefects,i.e.thosecharacteristicsthathavebeenuninten-tionallyintroducedintothefabric.Thepresenceofoneorotherofthesecharacteristicsinafabricdoesnotautomaticallyimplythatthefabricissub-standard.Textilesuppliersandpurchaserswillstillhavetoreachagreementonwhetheradefectispre-sent.Ifitisconsideredthatadefectispresenttheywillthenhavetoagreeonthelimitsofthedefectandonanyallowancetobemade,bearinginmindtheintendeduseofthefabric.Sections2to6ofthisInternationalStandardcoverthefollow-inggroupsofdefects:Section2:YarndefectsinaknittedfabricSection3:DefectsinthecoursedirectionSection4:DefectsinthelengthdirectionSection5:Defectsdueto,orapparentafter,dyeing,print-ingorfinishingSection6:GeneraldefectsExceptwhereotherwisestated,thedescriptionsapplytodefectsappearinginbothwarp-knittedfabricsandweft-knittedfabrics.
