【摘要】:Thispracticecanbeusedtoextractcarbides,borides,TCPandGCPphases,whichcanthenbequalitativelyorquantitativelyanalyzedbyX-raydiffractionormicroanalysis.Carefulcontrolofparametersisnecessaryforreproduciblequantitativeresults.Withinagivenlaboratory,suchresultscanbeobtainedroutinely;however,cautionmustbeexercisedwhencomparingquantitativeresultsfromdifferentlaboratories.Comparablequalitativeresultscanbeobtainedroutinelyamongdifferentlaboratoriesusingthisprocedure.1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedurefortheisolationofcarbides,borides,TCP(topologicallyclose-packed),andGCP(geometricallyclose-packed)phases(Note1)innickelandnickel-ironbasegammaprimestrengthenedalloys.Contaminationoftheextractedresiduebycoarsematrix(gamma)orgammaprimeparticles,orboth,reflectstheconditionofthealloyratherthanthetechniquesmentionedinthisprocedure.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
