【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethodandtheminimumrequirementsformycobactericidalortuberculocidalactivityofchemicaldisinfectantproductsthatformahomogeneous,physicallystablepreparationwhendilutedwithhardwater,or-inthecaseofready-to-useproducts-withwater.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoproductsthatareusedinthemedicalareafordisinfectinginstrumentsbyimmersion-eveniftheyarenotcoveredbytheEEC/93/42DirectiveonMedicalDevices.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoareasandsituationswheredisinfectionismedicallyindicated.Suchindicationsoccurinpatientcare,forexample:--inhospitals,incommunitymedicalfacilitiesandindentalinstitutions;--inclinicsofschools,kindergartensandnursinghomes;andmayoccurintheworkplaceandinthehome.Itmayalsoincludeservicessuchaslaundriesandkitchenssupplyingproductsdirectlyforthepatients.EN14885specifiesindetailtherelationshipofthevariousteststooneanotherandto"userecommendations".NOTEThismethodcorrespondstoaphase2,step2test.
