【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsprovideproceduresthatareapplicableundertruefieldconditions,suchasinaplantwithspecimensnotatmoistureequilibrium.Thedataestablishedbythesetestmethodscanbeusedasfollows:4.2.1Developstrengthandstiffnesspropertiesforthepopulationrepresentedbythematerialbeingtested(thatis,individualgrades,gradecombinations,species,speciesgroups,oranyotherdefined,identifiablesample).4.2.2Confirmthevalidityofstrengthandstiffnesspropertiesforthepopulationrepresentedbythematerialbeingtested.4.2.3Investigatetheeffectofparametersthatmayinfluencethestrengthandstiffnesspropertiesofthematerial,suchasmoisturecontent,temperature,knotsizeandlocation,orslopeofgrain.Theprocedureschoseninaccordancewiththesetestmethodsshallbefullydocumentedinthereporttofacilitatecorrelationwithtestresultsobtainedthroughtheuseoftraditionalprocedures,suchasthosesetforthinTestMethodsD198.Note18212;Aproofloadmaybeused,whichwillpermitthedeterminationofaspecifiedstrengthpercentilewithouttestingthetotalsampletodestruction.Designingatestprogramonthebasisofproofloadingcanbecomplex,requiringconsiderationinrelationtotheobjectivesofthetestprogram.GuidanceonthismattercanbefoundinthepaperbyJohnson.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthemechanicalpropertiesofstress-gradedlumberandotherwood-basestructuralmaterial.1.2Thesetestmethodsappearinthefollowingorder:SectionBendingedge-wiseBendingflat-wise:CenterpointloadingThirdpointloadingAxialstrengthintensionAxialstrengthincompression
